Bring Your Own Ghetto Blaster Vol VI: Fold Dead
This is the second collaboration between the kalmont family and the xoxo kids, it took place October 2nd, 2010 and consisted of a take over of Seoul's urban space. Making our way into the water canal underneath the Seogang Bridge, we worked for a week to fill the walls with graffiti, murals and pasted paper to then host a night of performances, music, movie and video art screenings as well as a proper rager.
It all went smoothly until the rain from that day suddenly overwhelmed the spillway deep in the tunnel and rushed out at once, bringing a flash flood to our party. Only a few things were lost, people got wet, the party moved to dry land and this social experience is something we never expected but happily welcomed.
